The Indianhead Country Combine was established in 2006 by the Red Cedar Racing Pigeon Club and the Spooner Racing Pigeon Club.  It was named by Jim Thompson (RCR) in honor of "Native American" friend and veteran racing pigeon fancier (retired) "Duke" Larson of the Red Cedar Racing Pigeon Club.  It is a group of Chartered AU Clubs in the "Indianhead Country" of northwestern Wisconsin.  It is a member organization of the American Racing Pigeon Union (AU) and works, cooperates and participates in AU qualified pigeon races with The Midwest Homing Pigeon Association and The Heartland Racing Pigeon Federation.
